Live for Generation Organization (L4G), a newly emerged non-for-profit, non-religions, non-political and Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) was primarily established as attitude specialized youth lead Club by far-sighted Ethiopians youth and some likeminded peer partners regardless of their language, colour, ethnics as well as some other divisive social origins in 2015 based in Wolkite University (WKU) as well as evolved to youth empowerment association in 2017 based in Gurage Zone in Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Regional State (SNNPRS) which is the third largest region in Ethiopia in terms of population, and is located in the South West of the country. Further, L4G was also re-registered by the recent Proclamation 1113/2019 of Civic Society Authority of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in November 19, 2019 with registration No – 4573, as a national NGO its Head Quarter based in Addis Ababa. Since its establishment, L4G envisions “Seeing a better, active generation in thought, attitude and information” through a great determination and motto, "Better attitude, Better Life", L4G has strategically crafted its mission: “Strengthen young people through providing opportunity to transform their lives in making active participation, informed and intelligent decisions on social, economic and political aspects”. L4G promote well-being of Ethiopia youth by eliminating barriers to development, and also enabling youth to realize their full potential with an active role in their own and their country's development. Accordingly, L4G emphasizes on empowering youth through promoting the following tasks but to mention a few: • Enabling youth leader for future transformation of Ethiopia. • Youth capacity development through socio-economic empowerment and empower young people by creating dialogue and experience exchange programs to their informed and intelligent decisions. • Address youth Sexual reproductive, mental & behavioral health issues to their fruitful growth • Strengthen youth people to effectively realize their rights & duty • Enhancement the youth employability and entrepreneurial potential through practical level. • Developing the culture of volunteering and community Service • Creating for them an enabling platform to unleash their untapped wisdom and actively participate in the growth process and changes that is never ending and self-initiated L4G has yet strived towards making youth fundamentally come out of hopelessness through unreserved attitudinal care, respect and love by creating conducive atmosphere to them towards meaningful and progressive life.
