The concept of Strong women Strong Girls was born from a desire to counter the social pressures that discourage girls and young women in under-resourced communities from achieving their own version of success and to build a community of strength around them by helping them to dream and do. Our goal is to influence the next generation of strong women at a time when they need our mentorship and support so that they can be inspired and empowered. We see our voluntary work as an opportunity to maximize our reach and influence on girls and women and to show them what is possible regardless of socioeconomic demographics Strong Women Strong Girls (SWSG) is duly registered with the National Youth Commission of Sierra Leone to strengthen the socioeconomic status of women and girls and providing them with the knowledge and leadership skills needed to be successful in life and to actively contribute to the social change for a sustainable and healthy society.
