WARIDI is a non-profit making, community based charity organization founded in 2019 and registered under the Public Benefits Organization ACT (2013) of Kenya in 2020. It was formed to support children, young people (15-24 years) and senior citizens from disadvantaged communities (those affected by poverty, disability and discrimination) in Kisumu East, Kisumu, Kenya. Our vision is to create healthy, resilient and sustainable communities. Our Mission is to inform, empower and transform communities towards self-reliance. Our work responds to 4 SDG pillars: • SDG 3: Promote access to SRHR, Mental Health, Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) information & services for all. • SDG 4: Promote access to inclusive, equitable and quality basic education for all children. • SDG 11: Working with local communities to enhance environmental inclusivity, safety, resilience and sustainability. • SDG 16: End abuse, exploitation, trafficking and all forms of violence against children and promote access to justice.
